U.S. Congressman Dave Loebsack and City Council members Monica Vernon, Brian Fagen, and Chuck Wieneke joined 65 citizen volunteers to clear flood debris from 12 blocks of Ellis Boulevard in the Time Check neighborhood. Our distinguished legislators helped to make this first of our Saturday Clean-Up Blitzes a rousing success.
And thanks, too, to the many friends and neighbors who pitched in to help rebuild our neighborhoods, block by block. If you missed it, there are four more Saturdays in May where we welcome you to join in.
By the way, we also want to thank our local media stations which came by to cover our Ellis Blvd. Clean-Up Blitz. Teams from Ch. 9 and Ch. 2 were on hand. If their coverage goes on-line after airing Saturday evening, we'll be sure to update this article with links to their coverage.
And don't forget... Our next round of debris cleanup will be in Czech Village Saturday, May 9.

Two thumds up for you!
Normal 0 I’m happy that there is still politicians that is concerned with the people! I salute you all for that! Anyway, joining the said activity will need an amount that will be utilized and here comes the guaranteed loans! Some people don't know what guaranteed loans are, so let me make it clear to you. Guaranteed loans are loans that are backed with a guarantee, and that typically means backing with collateral. A guaranteed loan is hard to get, especially if you're dealing with a bank and you aren't super rich to begin with, and banks often don't lend guaranteed loans, or any loans for that matter, that are small enough for people just looking for a short term credit solution, which is where a payday loan lender comes in. Some don't give guaranteed loans or a secured loan, but they are great with giving you short term cash solutions.
