The Green Shirts are coming to – or are already in – your neighborhood! We strongly encourage you to participate in the neighborhood assessments being conducted by the Linn Area Long Term Recovery Coalition (LALTRC).
Click image to read PDF flyer.The LALTRC is partnering with Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC) Disaster Response Services to conduct a community assessment of unmet needs. Trained volunteer teams are doing door-to-door surveys to assess and prioritize long-term recovery needs. Walk-in centers are also available throughout the community.
In you have been displaced from you home or business, there is a chance that you might miss being included in these neighborhood-specific assessments. We even more strongly encourage you to make an effort to drop by a walk-in center to have your voice heard and your needs assessed.
In the Cedar Rapids area, here are the places with dates and times when the walk-in centers are available:
